All I Want for Christmas is an Old Fashioned Pork Roast

The kind with moist, tender roast pork and crackling fat. Yes, I said it.

Kind of like this one I found on Leite's Culinaria.


Or the fresh Roasted Pork Leg from Nigel Slater's Kitchen Diaries.

Obviously, I'm ready to relive the days of my past when all pork wasn't dry and lean.

I promise you, this one will please. Though, the Nigel Slater one is incredible too. because, you know, it's Nigel Slater.

(ps. Did you see Toast? Did it even come out in the US?)

I saw that Toast came out in just a few cities. I don't think that Dallas was one of them ... though I may have just missed it.

I remember reading that when you wrote it last year. Adding it to my possibilities. For one thing, anyone mentioning Laurie Colwin has my immediate attention. :-)
