Alright this is my wife’s home made Tamale recipe. This is the first time it has ever been written down! (Well it is a year old now) It’s her family's traditional recipe passed down to her, but she had made some clever changes that make it taste exactly the same, but be healthier for you than using pure lard for parts. This is 4 long parts but it sure is wonderful when done.I am going to have to force the time to make tamales again. This recipe looks wonderful.
